i have a 2006 5.3 with 200k and my buddy has a 2002 lb7 with 372k and a new beefed up tranny just wondering if you guys think i should trade he kept up all maintnence and just put new injectors in itmines a crew cab short box and his is a ext cab short box slt with a 4 inch lift and new tires let me know what you think

 

have you driven in it yet? Does it still feel solid? If everything checks out and you like it I would do it. Crew cab is nice to have but so is the duramax. What's more valuable to you?

 

the trucl drives good handles very well it is owned by a parts person so it is fixed up very nicley it drives just as good as my truck it sounds good just im concerned about the kms how long do these motors last and how much for a new motor if it decides to go
? my dad has a 2010 duramax its been good but also only two years old

 

How long you think your 200k 5.3 is gonna run

 

I have seen 4.8/5.3/6.0s go for well over 300k... But If all that work was just tone to the Dmax I'd still consider the trade.
