Has anyone had trouble with and/or successfully fixed a door sensor issue on a 2000-2007 silverado? My passenger door sensor isn't working so the computer doesn't know when the door is open. Not so bad of a deal at night letting the ladies in but, if the computer doesn't know its open then either does the alarm (tested it). The sensor is part of the door latch assembly. I have sprayed it with penitrating lube in the past and it worked for awhile... Just curious if anyone has a better attack???
