06 lly with 213000k. Truck has pulled a gooseneck from 8-10k pounds since it was brand new. The 1 owner also installed a edge chip since it was brand new and swears its only been on the tow tune the whole time. Should i buy this think its at the end of the road with all that pulling. Any opinions oh ya i can buy it for 13K

 

oh yeah. i had a 06 duramax too and i sold it and the engine was good until almost 290,000 km

 

^^^ what did you have to replace on the truck with 290k? Were there any mods.

 

213k isnt too bad... But the fact that they towed and had a chip I'd be more worried about the trans

 

yup the trans would be my main concern, as well as the turbo, it may be worn out as well

I would take it to a reputable diesel shop and have them check it over to see what condition its in

213k miles isn't too bad, I saw an LMM with 500k miles on it, all stock and no problems, it was a hot shot truck so it was worked, I was really suprised but it can happen

 

Thanks for all the response! I bought the lbz. I had ATP (Idaho Rob) look at truck and they said if i didn't buy they were ha ha. Injectors checked out good and it got good rail pressure. I ended up only paying 12 vs 13K. Im happy p.s. She runs like a bat outta hell with 200k+ miles
