It's an early 99.. not 98

I believe they should still work...

I bought a donor truck and I was told it was a late 99 so I was worried I had just purchased the wrong truck.

Is it a superduty or OBS?

I would strongly suggest not swapping a manual in, but thats my opinion.

It's a super duty. I've been through 3 auto trannys since may. The last one was a 1000 hp with billet tq converter. I've had enough.

Find a guy who knows WTF he is doing...

A manual will barely hold up to stock HP levels, bump up the power at all and there crap.

Who ever told you they built you a 1000hp tranny, is full of so much brown smelling stuff they can no longer see.

I am a guy who knows what he's doing. I basically just wanted to know if the two trucks are compatible so I can swap the manual in. Any tips or info on swapping it over would be greatly appreciated 👏

norcalbuz...start a thread with your question in the https://www.dieselbombers.com/ford-p...ke-99-03-7-3l/ section. not in the performance.
