I have a 2010 6.4L F250 with a DPF delete and Custom tunes from Eric at ID. Post tunes and delete I Got 16 mpg city hand calc. Put on an S&B CAI and my milage dropped to 13mpg. No one at ID seems to have an answer why. The MAF is clean and facing the right direction. I also unhooked the batteries while installing per instructions. Anyone had this problem and what did you do? Really frustrating.

 

I recently bought a used 6.4 and then put a afe intake on it. Didnt have it but about 100 miles before i put the intake on it, so im not sure what mpg would have been without the intake. That being said I'm not getting but about 13-14 with the intake, i did buy the intake used and leave the mas in the intake that came with it when i bought it. Curious to see if anyone else has had these problems....

 

Do u have a PDF delete and running tunes? That's where the big gains come in on mpgs.

 

Yes I have a 4 inch exhaust and runni g spartan tuner...

 

Idk man I was getting 17 city till I put on the CAI. Inovative said it could be that the started putting the diesel gel additive in the fuel.
