Counterfeit parts are, and will always be, a problem for the auto industry. This is another way of racketeers to make money. Everyone must be informed to avoid accidents on the road. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration noted that many of these fake airbags do not work and pose a serious safety threat in a crash.
