Since I am through with modding I decided to get back into an automatic truck. I decided to go with a new Megacab 6.7 with the 68RE. Major options include, Leather, Sunroof,DVD player, Power everything, Bluetooth, Exhaust brake (Super cool option), and a whole lot more. I added my SRT10 hood and grill guard so far. I have a couple more appearance mods planned and they are bigger tires, chrome door handles, and recon clear or smokes cablights. That's pretty much it except for maybe a better intake. NO POWER ADDERS!!!!

 

Looks nice. Congrats on the addition but I'll bet you power adders come within a month.

Oh, im jealous, I have an 08 on order but it is taking forever to arrive...Its on the train, but still not here!!!

Nope! I am done BOMBing. Maybe a better intake so I can hear the turbo whistle but that's it. This thing is perfect just the way it is. It Hauls ***** and the 6 speed auto is awesome.... I found it on E-Bay at a dealer 460 miles away. Not one dealer in my whole area had one in white with all the options I wanted which was all the options.. I got it for $9000 under the sticker and they gave me an extra $1000 over blue book for my 07. (Not that it was enough even with the extra $$$) I'm loving driving an auto again. I'm selling everything I had on the 07 including the Westach guages and some other stuff. I just posted all of it on DTR and if I get a hair up my behind I may put it all here too.....

Damn trains. I ordered a truck in 96 and was told 60 days. Man, on day 50 I was calling every day to see where it was. Seemed to be on the darn train for 2 weeks. Hard to wait for a new truck!!

 

You can say that again....they told me 60 days too, and we are only at about 43 now!!!

Well I don't know how you can wait that long anyways. When I decide I want a new vehicle, I want it now. I used to go to the local dealers and find one I liked close to what I really wanted. Nowadays you can just go on e-bay or autotrader and find just what you want. You may just have to drive to get it like I did. The salesgirl was super hot and it was worth the drive just for that. She's actually the same girl I got my 07 from only at a different dealer 100 miles further away.....

 

Yeah I used to do that, but I have had such a hard time getting what I wanted WHEN I wanted it (at the end of my lease term) that I let them talk me into factory ordering the last one...it went so well that I decided to do it again. This way I get all the options that i want, color, interior, everything, and its here when I need it with my name on it! I wont deal with another dealer, this one takes real good care of me!!


The wait is a killer though!!!
