Was using Delo 400 for years, but a rep. from DA Lubricants came in to my shop, so I have been using it for about a year now. They did free oil sample reports for me to show me their oil was superior to Delo. So I decided to try them out.

Rotella is the way to go...the weight of oil would depend on where you live and the climate there...I live in Kentucky...I use Rotella T3 15-40 in the warmer months and T5 10-40 in the winter months....my motor is 30 years old still runs like a new one...

Although in Canada I use 10-30 in the winter, and I seldom tow in the snow.
Towing I would likely want the 10W40 in the cold or year round for that matter if it was readily available.
