hello i have a tci tranny contoller and trying to find a tach signal on a 12 valve p pump b

series engine i bought this project resent they had it hooked to alt but when i hooked the

laptop to the tci contoller it was reading 4000 rpm at idle any help would be much

appreciated thanks !!

 

Crank sensor reads of the harmonic balancer

 

The engine does not have one could I buy a stock one and put it on it and which wire would i use? I looked them up they have 3 wires comming out
