Default Intermittent fan on AC/heater

The fan/blower on the heater/ac has become intermittent. 1st started as once, then no problem for 4 months, then about once a month, it would only happen for a short while. Now it is happening maybe a couple a times a week and instead of for a few minutes or an hour, yesterday it was all day. Now this morning blowing like a champ.

Any suggestions .

Check the pig tail at the resistor they like to melt.

mine would only blow on full blast when i purchased it.....my problem was the resistor itself.....$53 and 5 mins ....problem solved......stick your head under pass side of dash, follow wires to heater box,2 small screws (dont remember size),resistor out!....mine was cracked in 3 places with a chunk missing.....no melted plug though
