Default Extending Frame on Reg Cab Long Bed

Ok, so I have no idea if this is the right section, I am still new here. I got a 2 door long bed truck, and I want a crew cab long bed. I am wondering how hard it would be to extend the frame and put a crew cab on it, what do you think? I need the long bed so I can't chop it and get a crew cab.

Or should I just sell the truck and buy a crew cab long bed? Which would be cheaper? I have a buddy with all the tools needed to extend the frame ourselves. Thanks!

I'd assume an OBS powerstroke since it's in that section and I'd agree sell it and buy the truck you want.

well if you're mechanically inclined then you can. i would chop it right behing the trans cross member and i would see if i could get the fram section off a wrecked crewcab. but it's esier to sell it and but what you want.

I'm asking what would be cheaper to do, not what would be harder... The truck I have now is everything I want but the crew cab. So would it be cheaper to extend the frame or sell it?

Do you need the extra cab space or just something you'd like ti have? To me if I didn't need the space id keep the truck and move on now if you need.the space I think selling a truck and buying what you want would be a he'll of alot easier than finding a parts truck cutting frames welding it all back together and rilling off cabs and electrical stuff and putting it all back together

well do some home work and see what it would cost for material to do it. the cabs are pretty much plug n play on the wiring. but the hours you would have in the mods is a lot. but you get to sya that you did.
