But because of your site I knew exactly what to check to make certin I wasn't buying someone else's problem. I bought a 1998 chevy crew cab 4x4 silverado. It is very clean. Seats were just recovered in 2 tone leather. Trans was rebuilt 40,000 miles ago. Turbo was solid no play in fan. 2 new batteries, new alt. Brand new set of bfg at 33x12.5x16.5. Truck was repainted 4 years ago so still looks pretty good. They put bags on the rear to help with over loads but really helps with the ride. 225,000 miles. But I got him down to $3000.00. I drove it 175 miles home last night with no issues. I look forward to talking and learning from the board.
