I have decided that i am going with rosewood stage 2's which are "160 cc upgrade, new Plunger & Barrel assemblies and new 80% over Nozzles" but wont order them till uncle sam gives me some of money back . but my question is whats next or what needs to be done before? i know hpop ill probably just try to get a 17* pump and id like to do inter cooler but not sure of how to do that one at the moment? any suggestions or comments?

 

I basically have the same thing you are doing. My hpop is still running decent but I'm gonna upgrade it. I'm runnin tiny wildman tunes and I smoke like a freight train! Lol. I'm really wanting to run a different turbo but havnt worked it in my budget yet. I've been looking at the d66 from beans. And I want to get electric fuel kit from irate diesel performance cause the mechanical one just can't keep up. And also, if you have a 5 spd trans, lookout for the clutch. Mine started slipping not long after I installed the stage 2's and now it slips all the dam time. But an intercooler and/or water/meth would be a good investment. My egts skyrocket rather quick!

 

yea i really want the i/c for the egt's and read up on doing the electric fuel mods but it looked a little pricy. and my trans is auto so ill be saving for a kit after the injectors.

 

HPOP, fuel system, new turbo, trans mods... That's where I'd be focusing my efforts towards...

 

I'd go transmission upgrades, HPOP, and a 66mm, with some good tunes
