The mysterious crash of a Ferrari in Beijing last March is now having repercussions at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party. President Hu Jintao's chief aide has been effectively sidelined --- his son died in the crash --- amid allegations of an elaborate coverup and questions about how the young man could have afforded the $788,000 car.
