im looking to get another diesel truck and was just wondering how many miles are ok to buy a truck at with out haveing to sink every thing i have into after buying it. i dont know if their are any differences in motors but i am trying to look at dodge 12 or 24v, ford 7.3 or chevy 6.6. if any one has any advice it would be a great help.

 

what year of truck are you considering? there are many versions of the Duramax, the LB7, the LLY, the LBZ, the LMM, the LML and all are different from each other in a few ways

let us know a year you're looking at and we can help you more in that respect

but IMHO over 250,000miles you're probably gona have to freshen a few things up
