I have replaced computer and injectors truck has no codes in it when Exceller rating truck has heavy black smoke and gets 10 miles to the gallon truck cranks good runs good cannot afford to drive any ideas on what the problem could be bought the truck used so somebody else could have been playing with it

 

Fuel filter been replaced? What's all done to truck? Does it have bigger tires? Auto or stick

Fuel filter has been replaced tires are slightly oversize 32 1/2 inches tall don't know of anything else that's been done to the truck it is a four-wheel-drive 3500

 

Dually? What about air filter? Is there a programmer on it?

Put program on and tookprogram off makes no difference

 

Sounds like a boost leak. Do you have gauges? Check all your boots and the intercooler!
Pressure test the system or just listen under load Power brake it safely!!

 

No gauges. Truck runs good I have checked boots but not cooler

 

What did you put on for injectors??

The first time I put injectors I didn't do the tq sequence right truck had low power high egts. I went back threw the injectors did everything over and truck runns perfect.

 

Don't really know the dealership sold them. To me had old ones checked four were bad replaced all six
