Question Your thoughts on turbo and manifold blankets??

Wondering what your thoughts are on turbo and manifold blankets. From what I have read people swear by them. They say they decrease spool up time (faster spool), while reducing egts, under-hood, engine and intake air temps. Are they worth the money, or are they just marketing gimmicks? Please let me know what you think on them. Also any pros or cons that you can think of.

I have recently contacted Turbo Performance Products to inquire about blankets for my HE351VE and 6.7 manifold. Doing a VGT swap on my 2nd gen in the very near future.

I am not positive but I believe they are a good thing, I work at a diesel shop for CAT mining equipment (all engine rebuilds) and we put blankets on most of the 3500s and blankets and shields on most of the 3412s
Im sure someone can give you more info
