They will both do the trick, however, I bet you the Cummins' one is considerably cheaper.

The mopar one is $169.00, dont know about the cummins yet.

I'd bet the Mopar one is shipped from Cummins to Mopar, so why not just have Cummins ship it straight to you.

Not to my knowledge, however, it is better to drive it so you can see how it reacts. Unless it is a stock replacement then you already know.

Your best bet is to call SouthBend and see what they have to say about it. Far as I know you should be able to tow with out worry.
