o.u.o. Traction Bars?
Has anybody used these traction bars? Found them at a decent price at river city diesel. Any reviews on them?

Yup, even did a thread about them here in the performance section.
If you can weld, don't need clearance, and price is no issue, I suppose it comes down to which one looks better, they both do the same thing. They go about it a little differently, but the end result is all the same.

I've just heard the pro comps don't hold up that well. I mean I have no problem with saving money, but if the ouo are better ill spend the extra money. I know a lot of people swear by the caltracs but id rather go with something else.
As posted in the thread, I wanted Cla-Tracs, but my spring lift made that a little tough. If these fail, I have the mounts still and I know some guys that can fab stuff up, we'll figure something out.
Actually, I'd be more impressed that my truck could taco the bars than being mad about the bars folding up. They don't look it, but they were pretty heavy.
Y'all will be the first to know if they don't work out!

I could never find a real answer on specific length of the bars for trucks with different size lift kits. Seems like the pro comps are the same length regardless of lift size , and the ouo are adjustable.
Here is a video of some ProComps snapping during a sled pull.
I run the OUO traction block setup and love it. Traction bars make a HUGE difference in how the driveline puts the power to the ground.

Thats what I was getting at. The pro comps do the same thing but they are as high of quality. I doubt I will be doing any sled pulls but you never know. Probably feel safer with a nice set then the cheap ones.
Judging by how low those hung, I'd say Rough Country not Pro-Comp.
Regardless, Saturday, August 18th, I'm going to pull again at the Lyons Co Fair in Yerrington, NV. I'll let you know how those bars do. Ain't skeered!
