I have noticed a 1 mpg increase over the ULSD crap. The truck also feels quicker on launch and is a tad quieter than dino diesel

I have been making my own Biodiesel for about 8 months now. I have been running b100 in my 1996 powerstroke with no problems, and b70 in my 2003 Jetta. It is a great hobby and it costs me about .70 per gallon

There is bio in Pacific palisades and Ventura. I just heard of a station near Atlantic and Firestone Blvd

I've been running bio [ not filtered , used , waste oil - do at your own loss ] for over 2 yrs , anywhere from b2 -b80 , so far it seems that somewhere between 20-35% gives the best performance , but with prices of petro going to excessive highs , I may go to b100 , the main problem is the lack of the available b100 with out a long trip , or getting a bulk tank fill .
I chose not to get at a filling station because there are about 90 plants in the US , and some of those do a bad job of processing , [ A friend at the coffee shop builds control panels & programs the computers , so he tells me who to stay away from .
I'm trying a new processed type now , that used ethanol instead of methanol , pour point goes as low as -60*F , with a 60% bio , so much for winter issues , but the only problem in the past with the methanol bio was the bulk storage of b100 in winter , this winter I plan on mixing into the bulk storage b20 .
Big subject could go on for ++++++
