Did I read right that a lot of people are running 2 stroke boat motor oil from Wally Mart? If so, what concentration? Sounds like there is nothing to worry about with the oil, I might try and find that Mystik at TSC.

2 stroke oil works perfectly fine :) and iirc you want about a 200:1??? Just make sure it's ashless. But I like power service diesel Kleen. Or Stanadyne. :)

Attachment 38411 Let me give you a hint....NOTHING! It is literally nothing but non-detergent VERY heavy (125cst @ 100 c, 40 wt oil is 13-16 at the same temp) base stock...total and complete rip off unless you have an engine during oil. |
well that throws a softball to my nuts guess time to switch thanks

I always thought the best use for Lucas was for bar and chain oil in a chainsaw lol

Wow, talk about snake oil. Their fuel conditioner doesn't add any lubricity either, from a test I found in the tech article stickies. Now I have a gallon of snake oil to return.

I use Howes & walmart supertech probably way to much than I should,The Howes does have lubriticty properties to it sorta can't beleive so little can do so much,I have a VP44 so I'm hoping my over kill helps it. I also from time to time put in10-40 cheap oil as I heard it burns higher btu's than diesel again maybe barking up the wrong tree,I havn't blown anything up yet!!!:c:
