i really dont know too much about them, i bet they cant be all that bad
|
PM babyfat he will know everything about them... he sells em wink wink
we dont baby this machine at all (The ZD28) and it is a work horse!!!! even the thickest grass this sucker cuts it right up!! we have a JohnDeere 455 liquid cooled diesel and its a POS. the Kubotas are a little higher for price but resale is a BONUS!!! these are excellently built machines!! we have the pro heavy dudy deck and its a brute! the front wheels pivit to alow access to the deck and the deck comes off with a couple pins if you ever choose to do so. The only downside to a zero turn is if you get anywhere near mud STOP! because once one tire spins your up a creek w/o a paddle!! JD and others are good companies but all seem to be built cheap and are just known for the name. Grasshopper offers a KUBOTA DIESEL in there mowers so that goes to show ya how well these motors run!! hope this helps! Ian |

Scarecrow,
The New Holland is a TS 110. Its a awesome tractor. Its our Silage Chopping tractor. Gotta love that A/C. I also have a Ford 8700 its a total puller. And you couldn't pay me to own John Deere other than a Combine, or Construction Equipment. Marshall |

hey ian how bout some vids of it in the mud??? :l: :l: :l:
haha it will just sit there and spin, I think the top speed is 8-10mph so it doesnt fling the mud too quickly, I usually have to hook it to the trailer which is hooked to the truck to pull it out. Ian |

Born and Bred RED,,,,,,,,, IH all the way.hehehe
Grew up running a Farmall H and M, and a 706 Gas, Dad built a 4wd tractor and ran a MACK B model engine in it with Air start. Talk about something that would wake ya up....:woot: . And I now have a Farmall 460 Diesel. I have driven several IH 4WDs over the years as well. |
john deere 730 diesel, and a 1066 IH here, i love both of those tractors, however one of my favorite tractors to operate is the JD 4960 thats just raw power at its finest.

Scagg Mowers....
who can tell me more about these mowers. I have heard all good so far and they look awsome. I don't need one this big but the idea of a turbo diesel machine to cut my 1.5 acre yard really gives me wood! :sen:

got a 1938 Allis Chalmers Model B. love doin wheelies in second gear. my grandpa owns a 1964 Minniepolis Moline Jet Star 3 that we work to death. it has a loader on it.they also have a Bobcat zero radius lawn mower. its not a diesel but the thing has so much torque from the Kohler engine in it that i can do burnouts on the driveway, the only thing i hate about those is it rips up grass if you turn to fast. very fast. dont know about the warranty
|
Bobcat zero turn radius mowers hmm never seen one of those.Yeah the B's also had a really slow Reverse gear If I remember correctly.
|
yeah there kinda slow but i like to go forward not backward
|
First gear is really slow in the B to.Like .75mph.I always wanted to drive the Ford Select-O-Speed transmission but I never got to as we traded our Ford 5000 for a Ford 7710 Series II MFWD.I was like 6 when we sold the 5000.
|
the select o speed are cool. a guy in our tractor club owns one. he let me drive it at a work day to pull wagons with. the same guy had a stroke so he is thinking about giving me his 1952 Club Cadet he has in his garage to keep since he knows i have a Allis. i feel bad for the guy, he cant do anything now. its so hard for him to move. but he is very in to ford tractors and has a huge collection
|
Yeah that is unfortionet.Well that sucks I hate to see a Ford tractor collector go down like that. Some Ford tractors were really collectable to.After all Ford introduced the 3pt hitch with Ferguson but still Ford tractors had it first also Ford introduced the first Powershift in the Select-O-Speed transmission. The tractor industry would never have been the same w/o Ford.Allis introduced the Turbo to the industry though so Thank-you Allis.
