I've said it before, there is no reason to have 16 or 17 gauges, no one needs that. But when we were testing the system it was designed to run 17 max. You can test these things in the lab and all is fine, you test them in the field and get different results.

We found many programing issues that the lab never experanced.

Idealy I would say 6-8 is perfect for all occasions. But the nice thing about Performax is I can have all 17 sensors hooked to the ECM and only run the gauges I want to run at that time. I can also Data log all 17 sensors... Its a very slick system.

Back pressure tells me how well my turbo is working, it tells me if I have any drive pressure leaks or if I have any kind of turbo issues.

I'm going to run mechanical gauges soon but the pyro to the passenger side up pipe should it be the same for on that side?
I already have my edge in the drivers side and I'm going to keep it just move it over head so I can keep an eye on both sides

Where did you take your oil temp, and your trans temp mine is a 2001 7.3 4r100?

i believe there is a port just abouve the pan on the drivers side towards the front of the trans. for mine i modified the drain plug since i have a manual.

I'd like to know more about the clamp on thermo couple as I do not want to chance messing with the drill and tap. The diesel performance shops only have the drill and tap.

Would something like this work and be compatible with most Pyro Gauges
