So exactly what is this fix for?
:pca1:
its for a vp44 . electronic fix. 95% of the time a vp44 goes out its the circuit board. like when a person gets dead pedal. or they shut it off and it wont start or it starts but really rough . the circuit boards are prone to getting loose connection or a certain transistor gets stuck on and fries it self

Does this fix the P0216 ? :humm:
Yes, in many cases, it is the "fix" for the 0216 code. The OP has a good point, no popcorn necessary....
Soldering one corroded connection and one loose connection allowed me to "save" my current VP-44 - 26k miles ago. However, current boards on the VP-44 are supposed to be upgraded and this problem is supposed to be no longer as prevalent.... "Supposed to" being the operative phrase. |
Man, I'ma file this away for safe keeping. GREAT info!
very very good info.....but this don't work if you have a mechanical failure code....right?
