DPF delete question
 

I replaced my 02 with a 07.5 and am concidering a dpf delete. Anyone have first hand knowledge and can give me some pros and cons? The ttruck just doesnt sound "diesel" enough for me and I hate to leave anything stock

I just did a full 5 inch flo pro TBE inch No muffler..not much more than just the delete pipe. Best decision i ever made and should have done it alot sooner the kit went together with ease and fits perfect. You will be amazed what that truck sounds like without all that bull on it:c:

all pros no cons!!! better mileage, sound, performance, reliabilty....just get a tuner that will clear the code when u unhook the sensors...h&s has a real nice 5" tbe :c:

Go with the H&S Performance tuner either the xrt pro, mini maxx, and black maxx and a 5 inch exhaust like a FLO PRO or you can even use a 5in MBRP off of an 04.5-07 5.9L cummins

i have done several deletes. so much better. the clutch is a weak link though.:tu:

Should I delete the egr while im at it?

usually on the delete you can just unplug your egr..blocker plates if you want

get rid of the egr ,took mine off last night and installed the tuner and block offs ,my 5"turbo back showed up today,my intake took me longer to clean the crap out of it then it did to hook up the tuner,my intake horn was full of soot and the grid heater was almost plugged with soot:td:
