5 Attachment(s)
Just completed the install of PPE dual CP3 and AirDog 150 on a customers 07 6.7. Install went pretty smooth and we are waiting to get it dyno'd to see the gains of just the fuel system. Currently NO tuning on the truck. We are doing things in stages and going to dyno the truck after each mod. Will keep you all informed as to what we come up with.

we are at 5000 feet elevation and the customer stated that he was not able to do a burnout (remember NO tuning as of yet) before we did the airdog and dual cp3 kit. Now he lites em off and is HAPPY! Will keep everyone updated as to what we are doing. Some things are going to be kept under wraps :w2: til we release them but this thing is going to be a monster.:rocking:

LBZ cp3?

looks good :U:

cbrahs 11-24-2008 07:37 PM

ya it is the lbz second pump. one thing you everyone needs to be aware of is that the LBZ pump does not like a lot of pressure. we are running 8psi and it is rock steady and the needle does not move off of the 8psi mark. when we start tuning, we will play with pressures.

we also did the vent line mod while we had things apart.

Awesome!!! Nice work, keep us posted :pca1:

cbrahs 11-25-2008 02:05 PM

THANKS RED! This truck is going thru some serious changes. We are manufacturing a lot of 1 off parts and going to display them on this truck

Az2500Cummins 11-27-2008 03:16 PM

How much extra fuel can you put in the tank with that fuel mod?

cbrahs 11-27-2008 06:00 PM

I am not sure but he is going to let me know. The cool thing is that he can now fill up in one shot rather than sitting there and playing the clicking game at the pump.

Horse Power 11-27-2008 06:25 PM

Nice work . I can not wait to see how it truns out.:U:

cbrahs 11-28-2008 09:16 AM

thanks HP. we will be releasing some more goodies on the truck after our May 17th Dyno day. have a ton planned for that one. this next year is going to be great!

That is awesome. I sit there forever filling up to the neck.

I want a transfer flow tank.

cbrahs 11-28-2008 09:49 AM

SPEAKSUP 12-08-2008 05:07 AM

Looks Good one of the few people with 6.7 running dual CP3's

cbrahs 12-08-2008 08:59 PM

will keep everyone posted. the big mods will be unveiled after our dyno day May 17th. the owner wants to keep everything under wraps til he reaches the numbers he wants.

that allows you to put 3 more gallons in. i've done that to mine as well. it takes just over 36 gallons to fill mine up when the light is on.

Compcowboy 12-09-2008 09:34 PM

Looks good, I am thinking about doing the same with mine.:U:

CLINTD 12-24-2008 12:04 PM

nice job. Very clean

cbrahs 12-24-2008 08:17 PM

UPDATE:

Talked to the customer about the tank vent mod and he can go over 110 miles before the needle comes off the "F"!!!! YAHOOO :choochoo:!!! He is pretty stoked and can now fill the tank right up to the top :rocking:

ChinookFE 12-24-2008 09:11 PM

Looks good, wish I had done the vent mod when I had the bed off doing my Air Dog. Guess it'll have to wait.

nwflyoda 12-25-2008 10:28 AM

its not hard, i just waited till the fuel light came one then i dropped my tank.

cdiesel217 01-15-2009 06:06 AM

ok, this is going to sound ridiculous. i know what a cp3 is, but what does it stand for??

cbrahs 01-15-2009 08:32 AM

According to Bosch Service

http://www.boschservice.com/ServiceL...r/moreInfo.htm

CP3 = Common rail high pressure pump

Compcowboy 01-15-2009 09:54 AM

Hows the monster running? I am doing my dual kit on Saturday. Any quick hints?

cbrahs 01-21-2009 08:02 AM

it is running great. he loves it and he decided to buy an edge with attitude til smarty comes out. He has been holding off on any tuning til smarty but he is getting impatient. If you have any questions when you are installin call me up. I see I am a bit late on replying to this (saturday/sunday were pretty rough with the birthday and graduation). 888-668-9877 is the number.

Compcowboy 01-22-2009 10:40 PM

Thanks man. I am still waiting on parts to show so the install has been delayed.:rocking:

cbrahs 01-22-2009 10:45 PM

you will be like :choochoo::yeah::rocking: when you are done. it does not take too long, just be patient and take it slow. the biggest PAIN IN THE ARSE is putting the belt on! The key is to put it on all other pullies and do the 2nd cp3 last. roll over the motor (BY HAND!!!) and pull the belt over the pully. I though we had too small of a belt at first but called PPE and it is the correct one. Just tighter than a damn drum!

SPEAKSUP 01-22-2009 10:48 PM

He just needs to do the right thing and P Pump it :rocking:

Diesel Dawgs Performance 01-22-2009 11:03 PM

Id rather have Dual CP3's

SPEAKSUP 01-22-2009 11:06 PM

Well to each their own. But we do know all the properly tuned P Pumps are killing CR's in the MPG department. :rocking:

Red_Rattler 01-22-2009 11:13 PM

Whats the deal with the thread jack? :bat: :asshat:

SPEAKSUP 01-22-2009 11:19 PM
