I went ahead and ordered the EGR\cooler delete also. After more research, I kept asking myself "why not"? The more info I found on the amount of damage that whole emissions system does to a truck, the more urgent I am about taking it off.

Ya but do you have to get rid of the egr or can I just turn it off and do the dpf delete and xrt pro?? Will everything run smooth or am I missing something here?

You can do that but I would recommend actually doing the delete.

I received my parts yesterday and installed everything last night. The install was fairly straight-forward but somewhat time consuming. The EGR comes off easy but the cooler had a couple of hard-to-reach bolts. The DPF/DOC is a different story and definitely requires a buddy. The easiest way I found was to remove the DOC first and leverage a ratchet strap to pull the DPF out of the muffler.

The Smarty Jr. update was flawless and I didn't have any issues. All my parts came from Mighty Diesel and the service was excellent.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with the deletes and the performance is great!
