Front end work.

Just had some front end work done. :bat::s::bat: Upper and lower ball joints both sides and a driver side U-joint and break pads. So that got me to thinking are there better aftermarket goodies I should be looking to put on the next time I have to do this and use the thread for others that might be thinking the same way I am. :tu::c:

Moog non adjustable on ball joints
Spicer for u-joints
Pads dunno yet since I'm still on my stock set with 125k :yeah:

For the pads I put a set of hawk pads and slotted rotors all the way around in 2008.Still holding up well.

passenger side ujoint went out...replaced with napa serviceable joint....and i got 95k on my original brakes

Well got the work done but now.... the truck feels like shit. The ass feels like it wants to dance out behind me and steering inputs seem wacky. Sometimes a little works then sometimes it takes alot to do the same thing. Is this the death wobble??:argh:

sounds like you could have some does it start going crazy when you hit a bump or a rough spot in the road ?? also my truck was caused from the tierod to pitman arm had a little slop so check all your tie rod ends and my buddies truck was caused from a bad bushing on his shock beleive ot or not these things like this can be a pain to find the culprit:s:

CrazyLadysHubby 04-05-2011 08:28 AM

Found the culprit. Wont believe it.. Tire Pressure.. left was 70 and right was 80 equalized them both at 70 drove like a new truck.
