Sounds like a dealer response. What code are you getting? Is your truck acting differently or are you just seeing a code? The turbo can be cleaned btw.

thank you very much for the reply the codes that they have on the work order 1 po 471 to p 226 B I have start running my exhaust brake and now I can hear the turbo winding down when I turn off the truck if the turbo was clogged I wouldn't hear that right

Hmmm, I haven't had this issue myself. I blame that partially to full deletes:tu: I have read that those codes are indicating that your turbo is dirty. I have heard of clearing them up by getting your engine up to operating temp and working them on the highway making them work.
Also read that you can remove your turbo and clean it yourself. I would do that before I ever take it to the dealership, unless it's under warranty.
As far as being able to hear your turbo spool down. I don't think that if it's "clogged" it means that it is seized up completely so it would still work just less efficiently causing problems.
Not 100% on that though.
