OK, I have seen the EGT probe on the site, so the only stand alone would be fuel pressure. That cuts the cost off the bat, and allows for addition of other gauges as money comes available. Just needed to ask the question since the guy at SCT was trying to sell me on the TSX, and wasn't giving the answers to the questions I was asking. Thanks for the info and advice.

Why the bullydog? A LOT of guys are using the EDGE CTS now with great results. It's probably what I would get if I was going to do a monitor like that.

If you want to save, go with the scangauge 2.

Scan Gauge II is a little TOO basic for my needs. But it was a good input just the same.

I think I have this narrowed down to what I need right now. Going with the Livewire and a stand alone Fuel Press gauge (Isspro). Later on down the road if I decide to get the "second opinion" I will shell out some bucks for the rest of the gauges.

I think you'll be happy that way. I've got a couple single gauge pods that mount on the steering column too if you're interested. Not really sure what they go for new, but I would sell one for maybe $25 shipped or something if you're interested. They'd be perfect for a single gauge setup and you wouldn't lose your a-pillar handle.

I may have to hit you up for that. I am waiting for a price quote from BBD for the gauge and whatever else I need to get it hooked up, so when I get that answer I will shoot ya a PM.

Ok no problem. They're not going anywhere, haven't advertised them or anything so if you want one let me know, I've got at least 2 sitting in the garage.

Since we are on the subject, are there any of the sponsors out there that can beat a Summit racing price. Autometer gauge (gauge only) $189, and pillar pod $34? If so let me know what else I need, I will throw the plastic at it today.
|
I would bet so... unfortunately not many post in here. Try posting in the general sponsor area and ask. I bet someone one can help you out!
I think I paid like $135 for my Isspro EV2 0-100psi fuel pressure gauge, and I consider that one of the top of the line gauges. Also that gauge pod, who makes it? Some of them are cheap and flimsy. They're usually more money than that... |
