Turning of EGR valve or Unplugging it???

All of Innovative tunes have the EGR shut off, I know that. It goes from 100% on to 95% off. I believe that is all they can do. However, since it is still in there, it can actually open up on occasion (not powered open, just blown open). Your EGR cooler will still be in place though. A full delete setup would be your best bet. As long as the EGR is still in place, it can still be coked up. A full delete will stop this as well since you will no longer have exhaust gases being blown into the intake. Some guys weld their EGR valves shut too.

so if i just go get a scrap EGR vavle weld that bad boy shut then I wont have to worry about Exhast gasses Reserculating into intake correct ?? and I dont care bout the cooler i just ordered the bulletproof cooler So ??? Im Just thinkin about unpluggin that damn valve and shuting off the codes with my SCT Tuner When it shows up

If you welded the "T" in the up-pipe this coking or opening of the EGR valve would be a mute point. As stated a full EGR delete will solve the same problems you just got to spend the money.
Buying the Bull#### Cooler and running just the SCT isn't going to solve anything. Your '06 has a small scoop that routes airflow directly into the EGR cooler. Since that is HOT exhaust it just heats up the whole cooler Bull#### or OEM since your EGR valve won't be functioning. Let that exhaust flow go to good use like spooling the turbo. Maybe you don't want increased turbo spooling but I tell you mine LOVES it.
If you get the BS cooler let the EGR valve operate normally. If you want the EGR valve operation restricted/non-operational mod the up-pipe and reap the rewards.

You need to use the stock up pipe with the scoop in it with the cooler, if you block it off, it defeats the purpose of having the cooler there....

In the lower picture on this page item # 3 is the "T".
