why a holley black?
Im used to vp44 and the fuel delivery. The ve pump has me confuised should I block off the mech. pump and go elec.

Go electric?
Absolutely, positively, YES! A Chevy block-off plate supposedly works to block off the hole, too. The Holley Black (or equivalent) is exactly what the VE needs. Mark. |

I like my holley black to, so far it's been almost a year with no problems, never drops below 11 psi even on a long WOT run.:rocking::tu:
here is my pump filter set up.:hellox: Attachment 43894 |
what size lines are you running?
|
On mine I'm running 3/8" in and 5/16" on the return.
Dar's set-up is much more sophisticated than mine, but mine is hard to know it's there besides the growl of the pump, because I tucked it up inside the frame rail and I'm using the stock VE filter/separator on the head. I probably SHOULD pre-filter it before the pump, though. Mark. |

The simple, inexpensive Walbro 392 works just fine supporting 450HP. ;)
