so which one do we need, the 6mm or the 1/4 inch one??? just how accurate are these??? i may buy one for my 90 model truck.....

they're pretty accurate. it uses a piezo element (kinda like a watch) everytime fuel is delivered via #1 inj line it senses it. and then shows up on the display... we used one hooke to a timing light to time one of the engines in lives out there to OH... cant remember which it was; basically anyone tht has inj lines... but i'm going to guess it's the 6mm... it fits on the outside of the inj line. and i dont think they run 1/4 line on the VE

deffinately... i'm interested on how to use a magnetic pick-up to control a normal tach... and or where to find one. my pick up is taking a crap on me.. only works when ya hit atleast 1800 rpm
