ordered a snap on boroscope with a 5.5 mm head, injector tip is at 7.01 mm. also put in new injector and noise is gone. gonna ride a lil bit to see if it stays that way. thanks for all the insight

The cure for the #8 on a 7.3 is either a high pressure cross over or bump up one injector size in that hole. Runs outta oil way back there.
