Rather loud in the cab even with it being quad cab. All I can say is, don't open the sliding rear window unless you want to have a ringing in your ears for about a day :s: . Just a good reason to put in a better stereo system. Haha. Good amount of drone, makes your insides feel all nice and tingly though. And if you are wondering, it is about three times as loud as just a straight pipe at the stock location, if not more. Nothing like a Cummins motor exhaling thru some straight pipes, no matter what size they are. I will try to get some videos or somethin up with sound goin down the road. Have to find my camera charger first.

GRI, im going to one 7 might have a cross pipe for ya.

The noise in the cab drops off the higher the tip is above the cab.

Im interested.
I didnt think yours was that loud when we met up in willet. I know for a fact When I straight piped mine it was way louder |
These trucks (3rd gen) are in my opinion, the loudest thus far out of the three generations of motors. They may not sound anything like the older ones but as far as exhaust decibels, I think they could beat out the older models by a longshot. My buddy at work said he has heard a lot of Cummins and none of the pickups were nearly as loud as mine even with stacks.... Now motor noise is a different story. I believe a single seven inch will sound like the exhaust noise is coming from the depths of hell or atleast it should.

Gonna work on it today so ill let you know.

ok cool.
is 4" going into the bed? or 3" |
Is there not a system out there with a stack set up that allows you to have a muffler on some how??
Reason I'am asking is because I was thinking of going this route. |
