This place is dead, which sucks because the guys on here are alot cooler and nicer than any other forums. So instead of a "I have a problem" thread, I'm starting a positive one by asking what ya'll are planning or have coming in the near future.

I got a set of +2 Maxxlinks on the way, Vulcan 1/2" line kit from canister to vp, and I'm gonna take off my trim (it's already removing itself) and factory badges and replace with some 4x4" C-Power badges that i threw in on that order for a sweet $9. Also got new tcc/od solenoids coming in, not looking forward to that as much but thanks turbo20psi for hookin me up with the website :tu:

I've decided I will continue running without a programmer, hopefully some tranny upgrades will follow soon... trying not to dream too big here.
:c:

H.R.D 09-28-2011 06:07 PM

A vgt swap is in the near future if I could ever get a good HE351VE with low miles for a decent price. Already have the manifold just need the turbo and Fleece controller.

Fass,TC upgrade,VB, hid's led bed and tool box lights and some small sticks

dieseldude848 09-28-2011 06:50 PM

2in leveling kit, hid projectors, different tuner, dual exhaust, and someday down the road a nv4500 or 5600 swap!

GuyWithA24Valve 09-29-2011 12:01 AM

well i want some fireball 150s, head studs, southbend street dual disc, MBRP 5 inch straight pipe, a BD super B, then a compound upgrade, BD short shifter, scheid Lightning VP44, BD intercooler and thats about it

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Oh and an edge comp :tu:

GreenCummins 09-29-2011 12:02 AM

I got big dreams......... 7x.014 injectors or bigger, new monster pump, Blue chip redline programmer, silver bullet 66........not positive, 181/210 cam, fly cut pistons, probably a good sized set of lines and tubes, port and polished head, stainless manifold. Oh and a triple disk clutch to put it all to the ground..........don't ask me a brand right now, haven't decided.

I figure with all this stuff with equate to around 850hp or better all from a VP....... Probably going to start conversation but I think 1000+hp from a vp is totally achievable with a good set up and tuning.

cuttur2000 09-29-2011 12:13 AM

upgraded fuel pump, tranny overhaul or swap, set of gauges, new tires and rims, maybe in the future (not any time soon though) injectors and turbo

wyodiesel92 09-29-2011 01:55 AM

Non wastegated turbo from a series 60 detroit or 12.5 deere loader to compound with the stock turbo, 125-150 sticks, street dual disk, studs, upgraded hydros, billet input, little bigger and meatier tires, possibly pulling the rear blocks to drop the guy down a bit, traction bars, possibly p pump, and lastly a much needed paint job.

RAW 09-29-2011 09:01 AM

Redo compound turbo set up:
-Build an HX35/40 Hybrid with 16cm non-gated exh housing
-Add external wastegate system
-New piping will be in order, so build and paint it

Install aux cooler for transmission.

Swap 65hp nozzles for 150's, head studs, 110# valve springs, and paint the valve cover while its off.

Wire in new HID driving lights. Going to use a sport style headlight control module to control the HID's.

Install 2 more gauges, 100psi boost and fuel pressure.

I have all the parts in the garage, now just need to find some time to do it all.

Captain Call 09-29-2011 09:11 AM

Wash it.

Oh and maybe some new control arms, sway bar end links, pyro mounted in the cubby hole, transfer all my tools, tank and box to my Ford so it'll be my "nice" truck again and a new damn seat.

aguilar_15 09-29-2011 09:47 AM

"Wash it." --Yup in the same boat man

Install all my crap
-Schied Lightning Pump
-Bosch RV275s
-PDI exhaust manifold
-FASS
-GS gauges.

Then Valair clutch, head stud (ARP or A-1)all the intake (turbo to engine), possible traction bars (homemade), bumpers front and back (homemade), headache rack. Then repaint and de-dent my bed, get some LED/HID lights all around and new seats (pass. is a literal pain in the ass) :ouch:

vcustoms86 09-29-2011 10:58 AM

On the 24v lets see, twin my VGT, Headstuds, 120-125 DDPs, Flex-i-lite electric fans, Fluidamper, South Bend DD, traction bars, intercooler, redo the grille again so the light bar mounts better, and rewire all the accessories for a cleaner engine bay. Also want to use a light switch that has the pull out for the fog lights and see if i can wire my HIDs in the bumper to the switch.

On the 6.7, ummm, South bend DD and fix the fog light.

Lots of good stuff :c:

vcustoms, I'm with you on re routing wires... I have so many wires under my dash i just zip tied them up out of sight :D

I never wired my pillar gauge dimmer :argh: so at night I'm like a deer in my own headlights... so that is 2nd to installing everything I got coming. Suncoast converter will probably be my next big ticket item, but I really need some front tires and an alignment.

skyler1101 09-29-2011 11:39 AM

:pca1:i wanna get some big compounds dragonfire vp44 mach 7 injectors get my traction bars on get some bf goodrich all terrains on for pulling and then reroute my exhaust and put it to the hoodstack i need to put 110 pound valve springs in and then i need to stud it all down!

Hey,

I have HIDs that are retro fitted into my headlights. Anyhow, one bulb just went out and condensation has started building in both lamps. So I am contemplating doing away with the HID retro fitted headlights and going either back to stock or the sport conversion. I am frustrated with it as I just finished with a fluidampr.....it just never stops....if it was noraml light bulbs it would have already been done......then again there would not have been a post...LOL

vcustoms86 09-29-2011 03:17 PM

Are they stock housings with HID bulbs?

BACONBITSFORU 09-29-2011 04:36 PM

My hid fog lights work great...

turbo20psi 09-29-2011 05:12 PM

I need traction bars, a new Instrument Bezel LMC Truck Parts - Page 93 which is on order.

Sheet metal intake or just a plenum intake cover for a street truck.

Lighter and stronger and very well balanced drive shafts. In red of course. Dynotech Driveshaft Custom Driveshafts, High Speed Balanced built to your specifications in Steel, Aluminum and Composite Materials

Far future :Compounds,250 hp injectors,4 link suspension, :c:

They are stock housings, but were modified to fit a FXR projector inside and then resealed. I got a thread on it somewhere on here. I just thought I would at least get a year out of the bulbs at a minimum. But Just did the retro fit in April until earlier this week when one went out. So I am not sure if the maintance is worth it. So I may just go to the sport conversion and then sell off what I got.

If I can get 40,000kms (25,000miles) on the AmsOil oil, the entire set up will have paid for its self by the time I change the oil. :choochoo:

I had HIDs in mine that were a direct replacement. I didnt have to modifythe housings at all. Ill see if i can find who made them. :c:

I had originally bought some along with the housing that they sold. However the light pattern was so bad for everyone else and by the time I angled them down, it just did not look right with the light housings. With the truck being leveled it made it worse for me. So that is when I learned about retro fitting. I am sure if I did another set they would be better. Just not sure what to do at this point.

Vb$tc
Airdog
Big line kit
Filter delete
2 price manifold

Thats all been sitting in my shed for like 3 months. Just waiting to get installed. I think my next purchase will be a flex I lite fan and maybe a intake pleneum. But I should prolly start installing my other parts first.

TTCummins 10-01-2011 12:34 PM

Just got an aftermarket 3pc exhaust manifold yesterday. The truck is apart now for a twins upgrade. Searching for a primary turbo. I might hit up a truck junkyard or something. Water/meth afterwards
