Fass 150 Pics Needed...

I need a new lift pump and am thinking about the 150 series fass (long filters) and am worried about them hanging down too low. Does anyone have any pics of this setup installed, did you mount where they suggest of find a better place?... thanks...

It does not hang down at all. And it pump fuel like a fire hose.

I was hoping to run the big filter Fass system because of the better filtration and the ability to get over the counter filters... I know the 95 series (short filters) would fit better, but from what I can find, you have to buy filters from fass, does anyone know if there are others like fleetguard that fit the 95 series???

I cant get my camera to work right now, but with my 150 its safe, i've burried the truck and had no problems from the fass.

We have a few customers that have mounted the system up to the bottom of the bed to raise them up a little bit, and another idea that a customer told us is he painted the bottom 1/2 of the filters black so they wouldn't stand out to much.

I think hes worried more about the filters being low instead of looks.

I think someone on here had the unit mounted underneath the bed.

Cashwheel, do you have the 150 series with the filters not just the pump?? Also did you mount it where the directions tell you to, or somewhere else??

I wish I took a pic of the last 150 unit we did on a 01. The filters hung down about 2 inches below the bottom of the bed side on that unit. The mount was attached to the cab support as per the instructions.

The FASS 150.150 and 150.95 units if installed as high as possible do not present a problem. I have a couple really dated pictures on my website that you can look at showing the unit hanging in place and it has been as such for 4 years with no problems at all.

But can they be mounted at 90 degrees?
