I would definently do it, just like bandits siad it helps seat the threads and stretch the stud, we do it to the rod bolts every time we put new rods in our race motor, I re-torque the head studs three times or more on that motor too, I'm pretty anal about that. |
no kidding? i have a chiltons manual and it said to go to 86 then go 90 degrees further thats all it said so thats what i did:nope:
