What minor mods would y'all recommend for more power, torque, or mpgs?

Minor as in dollar wise or work wise? If you want to go safe and not looking for a ton of power I would say a Smarty. Gives you all of what you were looking for. If you want more, power & torque. Injectors, fueling box (Edge or adrenaline, tst/w smarty) Then turbo upgrade clutch .... Then your hooked and won't be able to stop:c:

I think i commented on your other post but a few things you can do are.. Injectors, Turbo, Your programmer(s), Hot Rod Injection pump if you trust them :humm:, fass or airdog pump, and then you get into head and block work. Keep in mind that your trans will have to be equally as powerful as what your doing to your motor so a clutch would probably be one of the first steps you should take.. A smarty is a programmer and tst is the company that makes it :tu:

Damn now you have me thinking more about the adrenaline.... But thats a steep price no?

Do you have gauges?
None of it's cheap. But if you want to play and play safe you have to pay. Beats the heck out of loosing a injection pump or even worse a motor!

What are yalls thought on stock injectors honed to be a 75 hp injector???

Personally I don't like the idea. If an injector has to be taken apart to get the nozzel out and machined, why not put a new nozzle in?

The ones im looking to buy have new nozzles and were honed...

So they are new nozzles that were honed? Sounds kinda weird to me. I'd prefer a set of EDM nozzles, like the ones I have.

Yea if i understand the guy they are or were stock injectors that were honed and then the nozzles were replaced with 75 hp nozzles

How much hp gain would i see with these injectors?

They are rated at 80Hp & 150#'s Tq.
They ran really nice in my truck. I just went bigger.

how many miles on them?

I ran them for about 2 years 20k miles maybe.
But since back from being freshened up @ F1 diesel they haven't been installed.

Oh alright:tu:, and Any way for me to talk to the guys at F1 diesel about them?

EDM is Electric discharge machining. Check it out on Wikipedia, it's pretty neat.

I love my edm nozzles on my Industrial Injection injectors. Id definitely look into a clutch while before you spend all your money on mods. That way your ready to hold the power your putting out. And also get a fuel pressure gauge and for a tuner Id go with a edge comp with good set of injectors. And if you wanted a turbo Id go with a 62/65/12

To be honest I dont know alot about their Injectors.

From what i can see, no one can beat their prices

i ran the adrenaline in my 99 and did not like it at all. it makes tons of power but it surges bad if you dont turn it below 3 driving down the road. also the controller that came with it is cheap and never worked quite right. id do the smarty and or edge comp.

Those will work great with a Phat Shaft 62.

In all honesty you think my hx35 with an adjustable boost elbow wont be able to keep up with those injectors? I was told that they shud run pretty good egts

I'd just plug/clamp the wastegate hose. They run fine plugged.

Should be fine but keep a eye on the EGT's.

If thats all your running then you should be fine.

I was hoping so:tu: Also how do i adjust my boost elbow? When i install it how will i kno wht it is set at? What psi should i have it set at?
