How far down on the pto plate should i put the sensor and exactly where is the pto plate located? Don't mean to sound like a newbie or anything but I have never had to work on my transmission I've only looked at it and tried to figure a good place to put it:humm:
Its a rectangle plate held on with 6-8 bolts if I remember correctly. Its located on the side of the transmission. I placed my sender towards the bottom of the plate. If I get time I will snap a shot for you of mine 2morrow. |
Thanks alot all of you guys really helped! And ya I sure could use that picture, it would be a great help. One last question and hen I'll stop bothering you guys with my newbie questions, where do I put the oil back in when it all comes out?

I don't know...since you guys say there's really no point in it I think I mIght just go without it to save a little money. What do you guys think?

if it was worth a damn at all, i'd have one in my ZF6. there's no point. there's only hard parts to break in there. And trust me, you wont need a sensor to tell you, you broke something.
