edge juice
I just got an ejwa. I was wondering how long can i run it before i need to get a fass fuel system or air dog? I was thinking about just getting a ppe i think it is? just till i get the money to get somethin better.

Yikes!!! Running an Juice or any performance mod without an upgraded lift pump is risky! Watch your fuel pressure, don't let it drop under 10PSI with the engine running EVER. Damage to the VP44 will occur. A AirDog Raptor, or FASS DDRP would be a cost efficient way to keep fuel pressure where it needs to be, and doesn't require dropping the tank.

well i think im gonna hold off on puting the chip in till i get somethin but thanks for the help:tu:

you can add the chip but don't tap the pump wire and it should be ok. your better off to have some gauges than nothing at all.

Thanks a very good point! You can have all of the features, but no power gain. Then the temptaion will be removed and possible damage avoided. When you do tap the pump, I strongly suggest a Steakth Plate so no external wires have there insulation punctured.

thanks and i got a smokin deal on a FASS ddrp, with some gauges pyro, boost, trany temp, fuel psi:jump:

The FASS DDRP is fine for a stock truck or a truck with a small box.

how about the Raptor, or a bd aux lift pump?:humm:

Do you have the attitude monitor with it? If so, you can set the box to STOP fueling when your fuel pressure drops to a level that YOU set. Ergo if you set a minimum PSI@5 and it drops to that, the box will automatically lower the power it's giving you to raise the fuel pressure.
If not, you may want to hold off. I fried mine with just an EZ All that being said I like the Fuel Boss on my cummins better than ANY aftermarket lift pump I have ran. :rocking: |

Same here, I never noticed a defuel setting for fuel pressure. Definitely an alert for pressure. Unless the stereo is cranked, you cant miss it.
