injectors
what size injectors will the stock lift pump on my 99 Dodge Cummins support? It only has 107,500 miles on it, so the pump should have a lot of life left in it.

What kinda of fuel pressure is your lift pump making?
Luke |
Yes i agree with luke makes sure your making good fuel pressure at your pump before you do anything powerwise
Reason for this is the stock lift pumps generally only flow enough for stock power levels, at the best. 10PSI at WOT is minimum to ensure VP44 longevity.
stock lift pump = stock injectors. put a fass on it and be happy and able to run anything you want.
I agree, get rid of that pos stock lift pump before you have to replace your pos stock vp44. then start thinking injectors.
get a raptor 100 or 150?
I haven't checked the actual pressure from the pump, I would think it still has all it's pressure it's supposed to be pumpin, I don't know what that is though.
By the way guys I REALLY appreciate the help, but watch your abreviations. I'm just a farmer thats decided to juice up his ride so I don't know what WOT and FASS mean !! Bear with me, ok? I'll get there I promise. And to be totally honest I got a bit jealous after my son and I worked on his 93 Dodge 12v then I drove it one day he wasn't here and it runs like a raped ape !!!! I got the bug from my earlier days. |
Wot means wide open throttle and fass is a company that makes an aftermarket lift pump.
:rocking:when you get the fuel pump (i got the raptor 150 happy happy with it) get an quadzilla adrinaline box or a edge comp box & rv275 injectors all the venders can hook you up on all those, it will come alive, o ya almost forgot, helps to have better flowing exaust , (just my 2 cents):tu::tu:
