What tools are needed to R&R fuel injectors in my 98' 24v

RAW 08-04-2010 07:37 AM

Pretty much basic hand tools, metric of course. 10mm, 13mm, wrenches or sockets and ratchet. 7/8" line wrench for the lines, I believe it is 7/8". A medium length pry bar to pop the injectors up. There is a special too to put the fuel tubes out, but I found a good small screwdriver did the trick as well.

This thread has a lot of information in it:

Just be patient with it and do it right... Keep EVERYTHING clean it should take about 1-2 hours for the first timer.

19mm is real close to 3/4"

I have a 3/4 in door of my truck so I can crack the lines when my pump goes dry from time to time on the track. are we talking different lines, or what? Just trying to make sense of it.
