i have an ADR., is the pulse worth the money sense i already have gages.

I just got the my ADR w/ pulse installed. Its nice because it can fit more then just what a pillar worth of gauges can do (Parameters Monitored - with additional User Defined Warnings on all parameters: EGT, Boost, Transmission Temp, Coolant Temp, RPM, MPH, Corrected MPH, ECM Voltage, Back-down %, TPS%, IAT, Fuel Temperature, Power Level, Oil Pressure*, Engine Load%). Plus it has built in turbo timer via EGT or Timer. Also high idle control, performance tests.

I like it so far, the display is nice. Not sure how the NON Pulse ADR's work but i can just click the up or down keys to change performance levels and its displayed right on the window in a small circle (doesn't take up one of the 4 gauge displays).

In my opinion its :rocking:

Having the Pulse opens up the Custom Tuning which is one of the best parts of the Adrenaline.

not trying to take away from rodders question, but i too just bought an adr. and dont know much about it, its non pulse. but i have regular gauges, so im wondering if i need to hook the egt and oil temp senders to make it work right, or for it to properly function do they need to be hooked up, all i want gto use the suppplied pod is for fuel press. and how do i get the custom tunes or do i need the pulse?

Mine didn't have oil temp its a trans temp probe... However instructions have both. Not sure if that's interchangable?!? As for pyro, it is part of ur saftey features for de-fueling. Also it controls the turbo timer on mine... Set for 300*F and walk away. Mmmm cool turbo is happy turbo!!!

cool thanks, does it hook in to the same place as the pod, and is there a whole bunch of censers and crap to hook up. i will be giving diesel dawgs a call next the first of next month when i get paid. thanks for all the advice and help gentalmen:tu:
