KORE doesnt make Control arms for 2nd gens
and
These cost to produce the 94-02 mini packs from the 03-08 are different and
that is why it is reflected in the retail price

I have 3rd gen lower control arms on my '01 with stock uppers and no problems.... I don't see why the KORE ones would be any different...

Do it! It made the ride better and like said raised the truck alil more than an inch. As for decreased capacity explain how removing one leaf and replaceing it with four would hurt it? I've hauled like loads with both stock and Kore the truck did not handle differently or Squat anymore than usual... I dont get how you can make an opion without having first hand experience with the product?

Well here it goes....before it was kore it was t-rex. I know this cause is my parents neighbor. That doesn't mean much but living in the same town gave me plenty of chances to see the product. Knowing quite a few folks with the springs and full on race suspensions gave me some insight too. I never said the product was bad. I looked into kore springs a few years back and was told by someone who has the springs (the company) they wouldn't be good for me. I'm willing to bet for the OP they will be fine. Now the fronts are game on for me. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers......ill be nice and share my tonkas with you now.

1. The springs are Deaver, made to KORE specifications. IIRC Deaver won't build the identical pack for regular sale because of a "deal" they had/have with KORE....but you can get awfully close. They might nowadays though as my info is a tad 'dated'...

2. The rear of the truck will squat more when loaded up until a certain point with these packs...this is a no-brainer...they are a progressive leaf pack, otherwise they wouldn't work the way KORE markets them. Kinda obvious if you think about it.

3. National Spring can build excellent packs for a decent price as well. National Spring
