drill holes in the lower half of the air box, and wire up a smoke switch and a lock up switch if its auto

X2 on plugging the waste gate I know how to do it was just curious as to if it is damaging to the engine? I have gauges now and can monitor how much boost im getting right now im only pushing about 18-20 on a hard go but wonder if blocking the waste gate is helpful ie adding atleast some more hp or if it is just better to leave it alone. And how much more boost will I see from plugging it? And sorry Heavyduty01 not trying to steal a thread here just had the same idea and questions. :c:

better of getting a valve,so you can adjust the boost.blocking it may put the turbo way out of it's efficency range, causing nothing but heat

Yeah, you can pick up a valve and all the necessary fittings at a hardware store for about 1/4 of what one of those adjustable elbows costs. Get a little brass valve that is 1/8th NPT on both sides. Screw 1 side into the compressor outlet, and get a hose barb fitting for the other end. The 2 fittings should run you no more than $10 at the most. I get them for about $6 for both at the local hardware store. Then run some vacuum line between the actuator and the hose barb fitting, and you've got an adjustable boost controller for your wastegate. You can get the valves in either straight or 90* form usually so you have some options for your set up.

which is better the rv275s or the 100's? :humm:

The rv's are a great cheap little injector. They won't put down near the power that the 100's will, but they are still a lot of fun and very easy to manage EGT's. I ran bosch 300's, which some people say are identical to 275's and some say they are different I don't know for sure. Anyways, with my drag box and stock charger, I loved them. I could tow heavy with them, max EGT's were around 1300 and smoke was low. I could also keep up with my friends 01 with a comp and 100hp jammers no problem. However, my box was hotter, and his truck was heavier. All in all, they are a really fun street injector for a mildly tuned truck, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
