My Bombs..What do you think?

Alright guys...I am fixin to pull the plug on a few parts and was wondering what yall thought about it! Any advice on anything and routes I should go or skip would be great!

I am gonna run a 36 or 38 DD from Valair, 64/71/14 Special, DDP 260's, HTT Manifold and the pulse for the ADR!...:choochoo: I am on the edge for studs but am more than likely gonna get them to be safe and since the special is gated @ 45! With everything in my sig and with what I am gonna purchase, what power ranges do you think I will be at and what are my next weakest links?...:humm:

I know for the most part what kind of power I might be looking at but want to know what my next weakest links would be and if I should skip some other steps and take care of bigger ones first?

Thanks again everyone!!!

BTW....Starting to Love this site more and more!....:c:

upgraded input shaft for the 4500,someone who knows more will chime in with a specific recommendation on that.
I don't see a FP gauge in there, but I imagine you've been around enough to know you NEED one...since I don't think I bothered putting that in my sig either.

:argh:....sorry Krabs I updated the sig! Yep been down that road with the VP already...FP guage was on right away!

I have the input coming as well.....45's need it to run the dual disk I believe...but either way it is coming as well!

Thanks for the input...:5:

might want to think bout fabbing some traction bars to keep that rear from swinging!..especially when those 260's and 64/71/14 go to talkin at each other!!:U:

TheNatural31 12-08-2008 07:03 PM

Hahaha.....thought about them as well...but man I love to slide! The only thing to worry about would be coming out of a dig....with a boosted launch in 4-HI...I think I should be alright!

Now in 2 wheel that might be a different story....:choochoo:

Thanks for the input underpressure!

What kind of power yall think I am lookin at......as far as weak links...I think I have most the importants taken care of..:humm:

:argh:.....I have the same feeling as well! It is hard to pass up the deal on these 260's though! I ain't too sure how high they would spike but I was thinkin they could be very controllable! Not too sure though......rolling into it or stayin in it during some runs might be a little on the hot side that I am not sure I want to mess with...:humm:

A intake manifold might be help with EGTs :humm:

You might wanna think about some 220's or 240's instead. Or you could do twins. I think 260's will be very hot but I've never ran that setup personally so I cant say for sure. I do definetley think it wont be long at all before the head lifts and you need 0-rings and studs.

TheNatural31 12-09-2008 08:14 AM

Great feedback guys.....thanks a bunch Pete!...:U:

I am gonna definitely do studs but don't want to tackle ringing it yet! I think the studs hould hold for now until I get a little brave and run compounds! What do yall think....I know it better safe than sorry but right now the wallet ain't that deep so I was just gonna stick to the studs! As for the 220's or 40's...I will look into that....I am getting a pretty good deal on these 260's! I am wanting to run the special and maybe upgrade to the 800 compound kit that BD is looking to start!

What power ranges yall think I am lookin at with the 260's or if I drop to 200's?....:humm:

Thanks again for the help....:5:
