A Pillar gauge placement combo
Hey guys, I am wondering how you all have your gauges placed in your truck. I will be adding a poll with as many combinations as i can think of and have you guys choose the combo your running. If I see there are more guys with one combo than any other i will probably run the same if it makes sense.
Poll items are left to right, left being top gauge and right being bottom gauge |
I think that's how mine were when I had em
|
i'm only running 2 gauges cuz i'm a rebel. boost on top. pyro on bottom.
|
my pillar only has 2 gauge holes. at the moment i only have a pyro in it.
and i have my boost gauge mounted on a column gauge pod the column mount it a bit annoying. any thing under 30 mph is hard to see the boost blocks the speedo a bit. |
TT, Pyro, Boost in the pillar and a fp mounted in a single cup down by the ashtray. Soon to add Volt, OP, and DP in a dash pod. Already have the gauges just need to get off my A** and put them in.
|
You want the gauges that move the most to be within sight. I have the Boost on top as it is usually no higher than 12 (unless I punch it), the Pyro is next because it is all over the place depending on driving and hauling and the FP is last (bottom) because of the requirements we have with it.

I put other, cuz I have the Juice with attiutde
|
yeah only thing is i like the looks of the gauges on the A pillar myself a lot more. Makes the truck look a lot meaner IMO
|
i put the egt and boost on the a pillar but the fuel is on the steering column b/c i usually keep my eyes on the rpm guage the whole way
