Smarty Updates
Well it sounds like New updates for the 2nd gen smarty should be out soon (for those of you that kept a smarty) :pca1:

I bought my smarty used and it didn't come with a USB cable. know of a place i can get one to do this update when it comes out? Man i hope its insane. I love the smarty enough just the way it is. cant waite. let us know when its out for sure.

I've read about the revolution for the CR's but do we know what its going to be like for us? are we going to have different settings and settings within settings like them? this is gonna be great.

I love my VP truck, Never trade it or go to a cr or 12v. I know to much about it to want to go and learn on something els. And now after the 1k hp record, were back in the game and its a matter of time when we will be neck to neck with the rest of them.

Question: Does anyone know if the ABS tire setting on the SMARTY is for tires on the truck or what they are inflated off the truck?
My Toyo M/T's are 32.00" at the the front, 32.5" at the rear and 33" in the book. Let me know. Thanks. |
id set Smarty at 33'' just to keep you on the safe side...

I remember reading in the smarty book somewhere about their abs feature and it sayin that its not very accurate. They actually said to go an inch bigger i think. It may have been an inch smaller, But i'd look it up. And what Grim said, Just go with 33.

Saw this from Bob Wagner Yes, I will be. I am running the beta software as of this morning. The first release software will be 3 levels of timing and 6 levels of torque management.
This should really work well for those that complained of transmission shifting. These 6 levels give great flexabilty, I am impressed.:U: |
I can't wait - trouble is I have a stick so I'm hoping for issues surrounding timing and injectors more than anything. Fuel savings with these aftermarket items wouldn't hurt either.:choochoo:

Last week when I bought a smarty on compD bob said they were alpha testing. I hope one of the fetures of the 6 for tq management is to totally throw that crap in the trash!!!

So Bob posted on another forum as a reply to a thread and all he said was that the "new Beta software is out".....Somebody got it yet or know what is up?
