hx35w would be a better upgrade with those injectors and is a proven setup with his fueling box since he has a hy35w
hy35 specs are 56/58/9 vs hx35w 56/60/12 hx40 specs can vary.... the ideal one is a 60/65/16, but most are 58/65/16 blow off valve is definitely a good idea for a 40 since they are known for breaking shafts if you bark the turbo too many times (let out of the throttle too fast) better off with a HE351cw if you wanna keep the upgrade on the cheap... spool much faster than the hx40, stronger shaft in it, and better drive ability than the 40. here is a whole thread of bashing the 40 if you don't want to take my word for it lol Holset HX40 Super HX40 specs - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together |
